Once upon a time an Italian girl called Grace used to sing in a band. Then she got lost in the world, for many years. This is her return to music, her first love, her real home. But she didn’t come back alone, the piano became her faithful soulmate wherever she moved. Especially when she came to the UK seven years ago to find inspiration and opportunities.
Thegraceisback is a piano composer and singer songwriter always experimenting with new things. Her hypnotic instrumentals are ethereal and emotional in nature that could easily be a soundtrack to a film or a moment of our lives. Her piano led pop/rock ballads draw upon real life and take listeners on an intense ride.
Some of her influences include: Ryuichi Sakamoto, Michael Nyman, Joep Bevin, Ludovico Einaudi, Beethoven, for the piano side and Tory Amos, Pj Harvey, Cat Power, Alanis Morissette for the pop music side inspiration.
The grace is certainly back and this time for good.
